I got 80 marks in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. Can I get a veterinary seat or do I have a choice of management quota in private colleges?.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a board of intermediate education with physical sciences, biological or natural sciences, or vocational courses in veterinary sciences to be eligible for admission to veterinary colleges through the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (Andhra Pradesh EAMCET). Also, candidates need to qualify for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET with a rank up to 50,000, depending on their college. The admission in most top government and private is based on merit in exam, the better you score, better college you may get. Most colleges offering Veterinary Sciences follow various reservation policies for admission, and 85% of seats are filled by candidates belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh. So admission to a veterinary course would largely depend on your state and category-wise rank. However, you can definitely get admission in the management quota if you have passed 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate, and then your Andhra Pradesh-EAMCET marks may give you an edge.
