In this case I would refer to go for B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering. B'coz the whole 4 years you will be only studying about the rules and laws of physics in guidance with thermodynamics.

You can go for B.Sc in Physics. But B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is also related to physics and will have more value than simple B.Sc.

Yes there are two options available if you exactly interested in thermodynamics. Either you can pursue B.Sc in Physics and then M.Sc in Thermodynamics or you can pursue B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and then M.Tech in Heat, Energy and Thermodynamics.
