I got 82 in JEE Mains and expecting 300 in UPSEE. What should I do? Should I drop and give JEE Mains next year or is there a better option?

I want a good government college like NIIT's or MNNIT or others which are equivalent to these. And the main problem I have faced in JEE Main and UPSEE entrance exam is "time management". If I would have got half an hour more than my UPTU marks would be something like 450. How to tackle this?
