i got 85% in class 12 exam and my jee percentile is 88.8% Can i get admission

Being an alumni I would like to share the major details about the criteria of CSE: Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). The fee structure is Rs 1,20,000 per semester.

Dear Nitin, With 85% in the class 12th exam and jee percentile is 88.8%, you can get admission to the BTech in CSE programme at LPU. The eligibility criteria for this programme is that the student should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class and should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. For B.Tech(CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE(Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. The University has tie-ups with variuos industries like Google,Intel,DellEMC, BOSCH,CISCO, VMware IT academy, PEGA,Automation Everywhere,CompTIA in order to keep the students in pace with the changing technological advances. Tie ups with industry also enables the content delivery by Industry Experts,Projects in Collaboration with Industry and Internships to provide practical hands on experience.Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. are an integral part of curriculum. The Career Focused learning along with the profound support of faculties has enabled the student to bag a salary package of 42LPA. One of my friend also inquired from LPU and came to know that LPU has relaxed some eligibility norms because of COVID-19. The current eligibility is if a student has 90% in +2 or 90% in JEE Mains then there will be no LPUNEST but if he has 60% in +2 then he will have to appear in LPUNEST. LPUNEST serves two purposes i.e eligibility and scholarship. Better you perform, better will be the scholarship. Dear Nitin, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my younger brother has already completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working with amazon. His experience at LPU was amazing. He has discussed placements, exposure, academics etc. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the universitys intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I dont even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields. Don't be disheartened. It is a great opportunity for the engineering graduates, as a job in any field (better, if related to technology) will in the long run help you grab work experience, which in turn will lead you to have your dream career with your dream package Any engineering stream will make you qualified enough for good jobs.
