I got 87 percentage in UP board and got 128 marks in JEE Mains this year. Am I eligible to get a good NIT, IIIT or engineering college?

I am from OBC category.

You have a good score but not good for a top level NIT you may get a lower NIT. I suggest you to focus on your JEE advance exam and try to improve your JEE Mains score too.

You have above 75% in Board exams, hence it will play no role in getting you a good college. More than marks, it's your rank and category which will fetch you a college. I will suggest you to work harder for the next JEE. And score better to get an elite college.
    All the best.

Government engineering of your respective state is a good option. Even the fees are reasonable. At last, GATE performance matters, so start preparing from the 2nd year itself.

If you belong to general category, then 128 marks is not enough for good NIT. If you are from any other category, then it might be possible to get good NIT or IIIT.

Getting NIT and IIIT is difficult, though you can get a good private college. I can suggest one where there is no direct admission. i.e. LNMIIT, Jaipur. It is really good and you will get ECE and mechanical of course. CSE is difficult, though. Before going to any other private college, just search for this one. I suggested this as per your marks. Good luck. Hope it helps.

    Hi Shiv,
Your marks are low for NSIT and IIIT because 85 seats are reserved for Delhi students. You need at least 180 marks to get these colleges.
