I got 89.71 in CAT 2017. What are my chances in K.J Somaiya, SIMSREE, Welingkar, and JBIMS?

The CAT cutoff for SIMSREE as per 2017 was 99.95 percentile which falls under All India category. Cutoff for JBIMS would be higher than this and for K.J Somaiya, Welingkar it would be only a bit lower (for MMS). You can still try for K.J Somaiya and Welingkar for PGDM. -

Hello! With 89 percentile, the chances are nil for JB and SIMSREE (as their cutoffs are 99.9 percentile and above). However, you have Somaiya and Welingkar as options; can try there. Good luck! -
You can try in both of them, but the actual cut-offs are higher than your marks, so all the best.

You need to score good in your CAT. There is a cut off in CAT for SIMSREE, it is 98.95 Percentage and JBIMS it would be more. You can still try for KJ Somaiya for PGDM. -
You have a fair chance of getting a call from Welingkar as they consider an overall score of GDPI, academics and your percentile. Also, they offer placements on foreign firms and there a lot of student exchange programs which gives a global exposure to the students. Also, the Global Citizenship Programme which is one of it's kind and is offered only in Welingkar.

You would mostly clear the cut-off as last two year's of cut-off has been 86 percentile or 87 percentile.
Then it depends on GD/PI. The courses offered in KJ are in various fields and specialisation. Please do check your options for the courses available.
