I got 89 (best of four ) in my +2 boards . I don't have any reservations. Would I get into St. Xavier's Mumbai for BA English?

It will be very difficult for you to get admission in St Xavier's College, Mumbai with this score in class 12th board. You should try for private colleges for B.A in English.
