I got 89% in 12th and failed in JEE Main. Please suggest some government colleges for B.Tech.

    I don't think you will get any government college if you don't clear the JEE Mains exam. But you will get a very good private college easily and they will provide you a scholarship too.

    Hi,
    Congratulations.
    For government engineering college, you have to give CET. If you have given it, then you have pretty good chances. Best of luck.

    Government colleges don't give admission only on the basis of +2 marks. So, I would suggest you to explore your possibilities in top private colleges to make best out of it.

    Firstly, you should not drop. Go with your interest. There are several colleges in private also. If you study well, then you will get good placement in private colleges also if you are serious.

    If you want to do B.Tech from government colleges the go to Punjab side as PTU (Punjab technical University) has the Max number of government colleges in our country and also demands only about 50 percent in PCM.
