    Dear Stenin,
    Yes, you can get admission in BTech in mechanical engineering at LPU with 89 percentile in JEE mains as LPU asks a minimum of 85 percentile for the admission to the BTech programme. My friend did BTech in ME from LPU itself.
    LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships, etc.

    For admission in LPU in the engineering branch the eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST
    Yes, you can go for admission. But for eligibility you have to appear in LPUNEST which is National Level test for Eligibility and scholarship
    The duration of the test is 150 minutes (2:30 hr.) and it consists of objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Applicants can opt for either English, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, Maths or English, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, Biology.There will be no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

    Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering along two main pathways:

    1. Standard B.Tech course:


    Eligibility: Earn at least 60% in the combined subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in your 10+2 exam.
    Exams required for qualification:
    LPUNEST admission test: The results of an LPU computer-based exam must meet the requirements for the B.Tech. mechanical termination.
    Other choices: High scores on national entrance exams such as CUET (90th percentile or above in any two PCM subjects) or JEE Main (95% or above percentile) can also be used to qualify.

    Yes definitely, you can get, but if you want a scholarship for tuition fee, then you have to give Lpu nest exam.

    On the bases of your JEE Mains score (2020), you are eligible for the special schedule counselling. The counselling will help the student to confirm his/her admission in B.Tech Programme. The counselling will be conducted in online mode. All the steps related to counselling will be completed online.
    1. The registration is open for the Special Schedule Counselling and last date is 20th April.
    2. Result of the counselling will be displayed on 22nd of April and rank will be allocated. candidates will be allotted rank on the basis of JEE (Mains) score. Seats will be allotted after receiving the seat preference from the candidate in the order
