    The National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test NIMCET is an exam conducted by NIT Jamshedpur for admissions to MCA programmes. Candidates have to clear the NIMCET exam with a good rank to get allotted seats at various campuses of NITs. Referring to your query, since the seats offered by NIT are less compared to the candidates appearing, the cut off usually remains as high as under 4500 for most of the colleges for all the categories.
