Hi You need to take JEE or any state based entrance for b.tech admissions. Currently CS, Civil, ECE, EEE are the branches in demand but you need to see your interest and skills.

Yes, you can. For government colleges you have to appear for JEE papers. If you get good marks then you can apply in the colleges where you want to take admission.

You need to give entrance exam for each every university if you have not applied for JEE Mains. Currently, EE and ECE is best in today's scenario, but I advise you to go through the subjects of all the branch and choose according to your interested branch.
