I got 92.33% aggregate marks in 12th, 181.5 cutoff in PCM, and 65 marks in JEE main. Can I join CSE in SASTRA College of Engineering?

Hi Vinayak, Yes, you can. In SASTRA, 70% seats in B.Tech course are filled on the basis of JEE Mains score along with prior weightage to the marks in 10+2. 30% seats in B.Tech are filled on the basis of merit drawn on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling. In the case of admission through JEE Mains over 70% seats, 75% weightage will be given to JEE Mains score while 25% of the marks in 10+2. In the case of admission on the basis of 10+2 merit over 30% seats, normalized marks of each board will be considered. Best of luck.

Yes, admission for sastra is 70% through JEE Mains + boards and rest 30% is from board merit. Moreover, for the 70% admissions, 75% are your JEE Mains marks weightage and 25% are your board marks weightage. Hence you are likely to get admissions with your better performance in Boards.
