Hi Ashish,
Congratulations for you JEE results!
I had also scored almost same percentile at my time of JEE. I am from an open category and I had got an admission in VIT, Pune. So even if there is a gap of few years, cut offs never change drastically. One of my roommates had scored even lesser than this and still got admission in E&TC branch. You will definitely get an admission.
So, Don't worry! Even if you don't get your desired branch in the first round, then wait for the second one. You'll definitely get it.
I hope this helps.

Admissions to VIT in Pune is based on ranking of MHT-CET and hence your excellent percentile is of no use here. However, I would like to advise you that please have bigger aim of admission in IIT. I am sure you would have been cleared for JEE Advanced. Prepare for it with full force.
Best wishes to you. -
