I got a 92 percentile in the JEE Mains. What scholarship can I expect at LPU?

Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship/ Financial Aid can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. In the last seven years, University has offered Scholarships/ Financial Aid worth 500+ Crores. The fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depend on the Scholarships if any is applicable. Scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, cultural, sports or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Financial Aid will be provided to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. Or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc. LPU Scholarship scheme upto Rs. 6 Lac per student Students have been awarded with scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only Scholarship Categories: Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Scholarship: oEligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate Programmes certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) oLPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards scholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D. scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2. You have a chance to get maximum scholarship as you got 92 percentile in JEE Mains that means you can easily scored the marks of cut off 1 in LPU NEST. Wish you best of luck.

Your score is good. For B.Tech CSE you can avail 25% scholarship, for ECE, ME and civil it will be 40%.

The scholarship will generally be awarded based on previous performance in academics, culture, sports or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Financial Aid will be provided to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. Or some specific groups like Wards of Defense personnel etc. With 92 percentile in JEE score you will be eligible for category 2 scholarship.

There are major three categories of scholarship for JEE percentile in LPU Category I JEE Main percentile equal to more than 95 Category II JEE Main percentile equal to or more than 90 but less than 95 Category III JEE Main percentile equal to more than 85 but less than 90" Further depending upon which field the candidate chooses the scholarship percentage is decided. The general scholarship provided based on the above criteria is 20% to 60%. LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. Based on the LPU website, they provide various scholarships. On the basis of your JEE Main score, you may get a 25% or 40% scholarship in fee based on the programme you will choose. For instance, if you want to take admission in CSE then you will get 25% or in Mechanical you will get 40%. Let me share the various scholarship offered by LPU, you might get a maximum of up to 100% scholarship based on sports. Scholarship applicable on the basis of Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled room. To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead.
