I did B.Com(H) from Delhi University.

    MBA is university awarded. PGDM is deemed institute under AICTE. When both are compared PGDM has more updated syllabus which is required in current scenario for getting jobs.

    I think I can answer your question dear. I see you in the exact same situation, I was a year ago. Do not worry, I will help you.
    1) PGDM:
    - Approved by AICTE.
    - Autonomous Body (self-funded).
    - Self-Prepared syllabus and course structure as per corporate demand.
    - Much of practical exposure and theoretical knowledge as per corporates.
    - As it is autonomous, competition is high among colleges. So quality and delivery is the main focus. Just like pvt. banks vs. govt. banks.
    - Exams can be re-appeared as missed due to interviews
    - Colleges provide you ample number of companies in summer internship and final placements.

  • MBA: A Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities. So, only universities can offer MBA programmes.
    PGDM: A Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university.
