It is very good that you have decided to pursue your graduation to become an engineer. B.Tech is a most dynamic and attention-seeking programme. If there will be any lacuna till last semester no matter how good placement you are getting. You could not be a good engineer. So to become a quality engineer you will have to choose and Institute of equal potential. B.Tech programme in the most happening platforms will teach you to be resource savvy. Robotics, Cloud Computing and advanced programming techniques make this programme unique and make the learner stand out in crowd. I will raise only few points: do comparison and rest decision

I suggest you to join in LPU. Because in a place like LPU one can expand your brain and you can know many new things. And Placements are good when compared to Andhra University. And the labs , class rooms are also well structured in LPU.

Andhra University is better autonomous institute and well- established. LPU though being a private university and relatively well newly established. Though, go for only core branches only in Andhra University or else join LPU with core branch. Best of luck.

If you are hard worker both are good. In higher education self study is more essential. You need not depend on teachers like in coaching classes. Campus placement depends on individual caliber, not on college name fully.
