Hello there, Yes you are right Galgotias university has lost its shine but neither it's due to the faculty nor due to university management, but the problem arises due to students mostly the students are spoiled rich children who are 'Rangbaaz' type or simply saying, they are goons, having connection with reputed people and ministers that's why they think that they are some exceptional people, drugs and alcohol abuse is also on the peak and the area of Noida is dangerous for girls, if you are girl then don't even think to go outside at night. Despite being NCR Noida is not safe for girls, it's the harsh reality. Coming to IMS unison, it's a very good and renowned University, And in terms of teaching faculty, placements prospect and quality of education the University is awesome. And the locality and people of Dehradun are very helpful, In terms of safety IMS is far better than Galgotias, IMS have good university management and security system and it is much better for girls and even other students are good too you will fall in love with Dehradun when you will visit it.
