I got an allotment in BITS first iteration. I want to hang around till a decent allotment through JOSSA. What to do?

BITS asks to do Certificate verification online, attend freshmen orientation, attend online homework all before JEE Advanced. If I do so, can I withdraw from BITS later without any fee forfeited?
