There is no compulsion on appearing in the AIBE. If you wish to practice law in India then you must attempt AIBE. However, if you wish to make a career as a Corporate Lawyer or you wish to practise only in your home state then your law degree and state bar council enrollment would suffice. Bar Council of India will conduct AIBE 2019 XIII (13) by the first week of December 2018. Hi, Aspirants need to have cleared LL.B. In order to meet the eligibility criteria of AIBE. Candidates are eligible to apply for AIBE XII if they are already enrolled as an advocate under Section 24 of the Advocates Act 1961.
