I got into an average college through TNEA and my friend got into the best one through management quota even though my score is high.

Will this affect my future?

Entering into a college is just a first step not the final step, you can do magical things in an average college if you have the capability and wants a very good future. You can go for off campus placements if you are not satisfied with the in campus placement. Don't worry about the college, it is just a step to bring you towards the success. Be happy where you are, You have given your 100%, so never be shameful. Have a good day.
