I got seat in KCET round 1 counselling for engineering. I am not satisfied with that college. Can I get a seat next year if I quit?

<p><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:rd:" data-state="closed">If someone does not get a college of their choice in round one counselling of KCET then he has the option of not taking a seat in that particular round. </span><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:re:" data-state="closed">Though, if you do this, you are locked out of the subsequent rounds of counselling for that current year. </span><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:rf:" data-state="closed">If you continue like this then you can reappear for KCET next year, however, you will have to write the exam all over again and go through the counselling sessions again. </span><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:rg:" data-state="closed">One should, however, consider his/her options wisely since quitting my may compromise ones chances for the current academic year.</span></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you are not satisfied with the college you received in the KCET Round 1 counselling, you can choose to quit and participate in the next round. Selecting the option to "quit" will cancel your current seat, allowing you to try for a better college in subsequent rounds. However, if you opt to quit, you cannot return to the previously allotted seat.</p>
