There is no age limit for LL.B. The interested candidate can take admission in it. Lawyers today aren't just taught the tenets of the law, they are taught to lead the world. The ability to make decisions based on facts and reasoning, rather than emotions is an integral part to success in the legal world and holds even more value out of the court room. A great leader has the ability to make the hard choices putting the interests of his client first. Gone are the days when a Lawyer had to choose a career in either Criminal or Civil. Corporate, Commercial, Mediation, Human Rights, Intellectual Property Rights, Environment, Cyber and many more options are open to a law school graduate. It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well known university and that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training. There are no age restrictions for entry to the LL.B. Programme. Many universities have distinct eligibility and admission standards. I can tell you about LPU because I am an LPU alumnus. Various universities have different eligibility requirements LPU needs pass with 50% aggregate marks in graduation (any stream) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or ISAT. (5% relaxation for SC or ST Applicants and 3% relaxation for OBC applicants). (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Note:-In case, the applicant falls in both categories, then only one relaxation in eligibility will be given. The requirements for a B.A. LL.B. are as follows: (Hons.). Pass with a 60 percent aggregate score in 10+2 (any stream) with English or equivalent at LPU. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has accredited LPU's Law curriculum, making it one of the best in India in terms of quality education and job opportunities.
