I had failed in 1 subject in my 12th last year.I took a year's break and now I want to go abroad.What should I do and where should I go?Help

I want to do some short courses abroad but the problem is I had failed in one subject last year in my 12th.After that I took a year's break. Pls help me what should I do and where should I apply?
