I had Mathematics as one of the subjects in the first two years of engineering. Can I directly go for M.Sc in mathematics?

    You can only do M.Sc with Maths if you have Maths in all years of the graduation degree.

    There are lots of universities in India which provide M.Sc Mathematics course. The eligibility criteria required for the M.Sc Mathematics course is B.Sc with Mathematics as a subject for at least two years/ four semesters. If syllabus of Mathematics in first 2 years of BE at VTU is similar to B.Sc, you will be eligible for MSc Mathematics admission in universities. You may evaluate M.Sc at IITs.
