I had taken a 1-year gap, can I get into RTMNU, Nagpur for petroleum engineering with 72%in HSC, 66 marks in MHTCET and 28 in JEE Mains?

Yes, if you confident about it, then take a drop. Prepare well for it. Otherwise, drop is not a good idea. Go for some good coaching institutes that provide good notes about engineering entrance exam. And they also keep you up to date about exams pattern, old papers, syllabus etc. Best of luck.
