I have 10+ KTs in Engineering first year and second year combined? Can I switch to BCom?

I cannot continue BTech as I cannot focus properly, due to the need of working to support my family financially. I am the sole earner in the house. I want to switch to a different course which is not as difficult as Engineering.

Yes, you can switch to BCom even if you have more than ten KTs in engineering. Admissions to BCom are based on your class twelve marks. Your engineering backlogs do not prevent you from applying. Be sure to get a leaving certificate and meet the cut-off marks.
