    At a cutoff point of 170 in Tamil Nadu state board, it is not easy to seek admission into (link unavailable) nursing in a government college. The cutoff marks for  nursing are generally high in Tamil Nadu government colleges from 185 to 200. However, one can try applying to government colleges and wait for the counseling process. You may also want to apply to private colleges or other nursing courses like Diploma in nursing or auxiliary nurse midwifery (anm).
