I have 2 choices CSE at GNDU ASR or CSE(Cyber Security) at UPES. Which one should I prefer in terms of placements? I am from Amritsar.

CSE at upes you should choose. Cyber security has quite a bright scope in future. But as a software engineering student i just let you know that you must be unique in your field.

First of all you are in Amritsar so I would suggest you to take admission in GNDU only. Second thing nowadays cyber security is trending but still I think that scope wise CSE is much much better option than cyber security. So it depends on you now. All the best!
