NIMCET is a national-level common entrance test conducted for admission to Masters in Computer Application MCA programs in the participatory NITs. According to the eligibility criteria for this exam, you are eligible to take NIMCET since the applicant must have a graduation degree in either B.Sc. , B.Tech. , B.E. , BIT, BBA or BCA from any recognised institution with at least a 60% aggregate score. Therefore, if your aggregate is 60% in your graduation degree, BCA and you have mathematics or Statistics as mandatory subjects, you are eligible irrespective of your 12th-grade score.

Yes, the basic NIMCET eligibility criteria requires Indian candidates to be graduates in Science/ IT/ CA/ Technology or Engineering, with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. NIMCET is the gateway to admission into MCA courses in the 10 participating NITs.
