    No, You can not do Legum Baccalaureus LL.B. With 40 percent in graduation. BCI (Bar Council of India) Rules prescribes a minimum of 45 percent marks in the qualifying exam that is 12th or UG degree to become eligible to join a 3-year or 5 years LL.B. Degree programme in India. Some universities like Delhi University prescribe a minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation or post-graduation to become eligible to join the LL.B. Degree programme at Delhi University Law Faculty. So, if you do a post-graduate degree I. e. an M.A. M.Sc. Or M.Com with 50 percent, you can still join LL.B.     Most of the good law colleges generally require minimum 45%. But you can apply through reservation quota for marks relaxation.
