I have 43% in graduation & I belong to ST category. Am I eligible for admission mass communication & journalism course?

    2-year course pursued after the successful completion of the graduation (any stream) from a recognized University with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. (minimum 45% for SC/ST candidates)
    The course focuses on ideas and outlets of mass communication such as media production, cultural issues, communication theories, regulations, and media techniques stream.

    I think you need a minimum of 45% to be eligible if you belong to the ST category.

    Hi Mrinal,
    The minimum score required to get admission in MA in mass communication is 50% and there is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST category. I am afraid you are not eligible to pursue this course as the minimum requirement would be at least 45%.

    Minimum Eligibility to Apply is a pass mark of 40% in graduation and candidate must have secured minimum 45% marks in Major/ Honours subject(s).
    Admission Process:
    Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by Gauhati University. Eligible candidates can apply online or offline with required information. Regards.
