I have 5 years of experience in IT. I want to switch to profile like Program Management. Can I get job in such role? Do I have to do MBA?

Few years back, CSE graduates could get junior PM role with 5 years of experience in IT industry. Nowadays you can get promoted to PM role in 8 to 10 years after your Development/ Testing/ BA career. If you have already performed team leader/ project leader job, you ae advised to go for PMP or PRINC

Hello Mrinalini, Yes, you can do program management jobs but it will be great if you do MBA as it will help you to get good position in your company with good salary package.
