JEE Main rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidates rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Main and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, and other SFTIs. Hello Swaraj, Your query is indeed quite interesting. You have scored a valid score in JEE Mains. You have obtained about 50 percentile. However, this is no guarantee that you will be allowed to take part in the admission process for NIT's. After the conduct of the second set of JEE Mains in April, NTA will publish a consolidated list of candidates with AIR and other ranks. They will also announce cut-off. This is the minimum percentile a student had to score for a chance to appear in JEE Advanced as well as take part in the admission process of NIT's. This year it's expected that this cut-off will be around 75-80. In view of the above, I have no hesitation in advising that please do appear for this exam in April once again with aim of breaching the barrier of 80 percentile. Best wishes to you.
