I have 50% in my M.Com am I eligible for CAT examination and then MBA from IIM?

    Yes, you are eligible but you need to work really hard in order to get good percentile in CAT. Good luck.

    Yes, you are eligible to appear for CAT but getting into IIM would be very hard for you, because IIMs require a score of above 75%. So, for you to get into IIM you got to work very hard.

    Yes, you are eligible for CAT examinations, but if you are aiming for Iims then you should put a lot of effort into getting a very high score in the entrance exam.
  • To be eligible for the CAT exam and MBA programme from an IIM, candidates must meet the minimum academic eligibility criteria, which typically requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognised university. Since you have completed your M.Com which is a postgraduate degree, it is not clear if you have completed your Bachelor's degree or not.     Yes, you are eligible to write CAT exam but it will be very tough for you as you are not a very good student but if you study well you might crack the exam with good percentile.

    Yes, you are eligible but make sure to score atleast 90 plus in the CAT exam for increasing your chances for getting admission in Iims.

    Yes, you are eligible but only and only in the scenario if you are scoring more than 95 percentile in the CAT and if you have good academic background.

    You can apply but chances are slim. Make up your mind to score something above 99% in CAT. Upgrade your CV with courses and extracurricular activities.

    To be clear, scoring good in CAT or any other MBA entrance exam is not enough. You need to have either good academics or good cultural / co-curricular background. Interviews, Work experience etc are some other important parameters to decide your profile. I wish you all the best.
