6 months of work experience is a very short work experience and is generally not regarded as one during campus placement. However it will give you things to talk about in interview for campus placement.

Having work experience always help in MBA learning and concepts grasping. And for campus placements, work experience may or may not help you but your overall profile and interview skills help a lot.

It will definitely add to your pointers as someone with even a little experience has a better say than someone with no experience. Though the companies will treat you like a fresher but that wont get you in any loss.
