I have 69% marks in 12th. Want to do Law. Is LPU good for Law graduation?

The School of Law at Lovely Professional University is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI and in order to make students top-to-date and the latest trends in the field of law, the School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses and NGOs. The Alumni's are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners and Corporate advisors and Civil servants. In addition to this, MOOT court sessions are also provided to experience the scenario of courts. Students are groomed through internship exposure and individual-oriented mentoring for a bright career in the legal arena. Our students have interned in reputed law firms and under High Court judges of a different state. Some of the companies which have made or shown interest in recruitment from our campus are: MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS, Thomson Reuters have recruited the students and many more at the annual package of Rs. 300000 per annum and above. LPU offers 2 courses in Law at the graduate level (1) B.A. LL.B. (2) BBA LL.B. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.

There are debating and quiz clubs Students are also taken to courts in the state including High Court at Chandigarh, Supreme Court of India at New Delhi and Police Training Academy to familiarize students with first-hand account of policing and investigation techniques.
