I have 72 marks in JEE Mains 2nd attempt in 2022. Will I qualify for JEE Advanced? I am from general category.

    The cut-off marks for JEE Advanced varies from year to year and also depends on the category you belong to. As per the latest information available, the qualifying cut-off for JEE Mains 2022 for general category students was 89.7548849 percentile, which corresponds to a score of 105 marks out of 300. As you have mentioned that you have scored 72 marks in JEE Mains 2nd attempt in 2022, it is unlikely that you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 as you did not meet the qualifying cut-off for the general category.     For general category, the passing marks or cutoff marks is 89.75. So, this time it won't happen. But you need to prepare well and score better in your next attempt. All the best.
