I have 79% in my 12th class and I didn't write JEE Mains exam. Can I get a seat in any college for B.Tech?

Yes you can appear for the JEE Mains exams. If you have appeared for 12th class Science stream examination, you can appear for JEE mains. However, for JEE advanced and getting admission to NITs and IITs a minimum 75% is required or one needs to be in the top 20 percentile list issued by your board.
