With an eighty-two percentile in JEE Mains Session 1, getting a government college in Delhi, specifically for a B.Tech program, will be quite challenging for popular branches like Computer Science or Electronics, especially in top institutions like DTU or NSUT. Their cut-offs are typically much higher. However, you might have a slight chance in some lesser-known government-aided colleges or in less competitive branches like Civil or Mechanical in some of these institutions. Consider exploring branches beyond CSE and ECE, and always keep an eye on the state-level counselling for Delhi (JAC Delhi), as cut-offs can sometimes surprise you.

The chances of getting a government college in Delhi depends on your category. If you belong to SC, ST, then it is possible to get one, but not possible if you belong to the general category. It will also depend on the branch that you choose.
