All IIMs have different criteria for admission. While CAT score is a very important component in the selection process it is not the only thing considered. For the initial shortlist for the Interview apart from CAT score they look at your past academic performance. A consistently good academic record is what they are looking for. Work experience in terms of not just number of months but also the quality is important. Once you get the initial shortlist the interview is the major criteria. In the interview, they try to see if you are a good fit for the program. They try to see your thought process. Many times the answer you have given do

There are chances, if you are a non-engineer with a 99+ percentile. It is much more difficult, if you are an engineer as that would require a very high percentile in order to stand at par with other candidates.

    Hello Sagar,
The programme that you are talking about is open to executives who have 5 years experience after graduation. As you are still in final year, I am afraid that you are ineligible. I am attaching a link that will give all the required information.

Hi.

IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA) does not offer a dedicated Master's in Hotel Management like some hospitality institutes or Institutes of Hotel Management do. However, it does offer master's‑level management programs that are relevant if you're interested in management roles in hospitality or related sectors.

The closest regular master's‑level full‑time programs at IIMA that could be relevant for someone wanting strategic, managerial, or business leadership roles (for example in hospitality chains, tourism firms, service operations, etc.) are:

Yes, IIM Ahmedabad is certainly costly. IIM Ahmedabad total fees ranges between INR 64,000 and INR 33 lakh. The fees vary depending on the programme and specialisation selected by the students. The fee for certain programmes certainly falls in the higher end of the spectrum. Students need to pay INR 25 lakh as IIM Ahmedabad MBA fee. However, considering the fact that IIMA is one of the top-rate IIMs and limitless oppurtunities students can experience at the institute, it might be considered a worthwile investment. Further, the institute also offers financial aid to its students.
