I have 94.7 percentile in CAT2011... which institute other than an IIM should i apply for?.... i prefer one with a good placement record

u can apply in top college..christ, alliance, iilm, mdi, shailesh gupta, welingkar, narsee...etc

as @||Suryap2012|| has explained - I am taking a more numeric and group based approach here to answer.
1. If a person has above 97 percentile, put fight for top notch institutes like IIMs, FMS, MDI, SPJain, NITIE etc
2. If you have percentile between 92 and 97, apply for IMT, SJMSOM, IIT Delhi, VGS
