I have a 5 year specialist degree in psychology from Russia, in Canada, it was evaluated as Masters 150 credits, I want to continue.

But how do I know that I have to go for Masters or Ph.D. I want to do my studies fully online/distant with no physical presence (living abroad). I also read that India do not recognize online Ph.D. in that case may be Masters will be better or it also not recognised?
