I have a 5-years of gap in studies, is there any chance for me to go for MBA abroad?

My pass out year of B.Tech mechanical engineering is April 2014. I have 3-years work experience. Recently, I'm doing a job, but I want to go for MBA. Which country is suitable for me? Which is a better option for me: IELTS or PTE?
