I have a B. Arch. degree from SPA-Hyderabad and I want to go for an M.Arch. in the USA. What are the courses and colleges that suit students

Hi Sudhanshu, plenty of M.Arch courses are available in USA. A number of top rated universities as well as private architecture schools offer the M.Arch programmes which are accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). Depending on the university and coursework M.Arch programmes may be of 2 years or 3 years. You must be aware that these programmes consist of course work in designing, building science, structural engineering etc . plus elective courses. You may furthur specialize in urban planning, landscape architecture, etc. Some well known colleges in this regard are Boston Architectural College, Florida A&M University-School of Architecture,Harvard University-Graduate School of Design and Pratt Institute-Graduate Architecture and Urban Design (GAUD) Admission requirements vary so you must check individual college websites. Submission of portfolio is also required hence prepare accordingly. Being an international student you must give GRE for some colleges and additionally IELTS/TOEFL will be required. Hope this helps.
