I have a keen interest in the shipping industry. I am a B.Com graduate, and I want to do shipping management in NMIS.

Certainly, you can use your learning for financial modelling in the shipping industry. Look at any industry it requires finance, accounting and other management segments as enabling functions. Do some financial modelling with the data available online for shipping companies like Merck send the model

My friend we are moving away from financial modelling to a Masters course. Certainly Master's degrees helps and I would not recommend that you specialise only in shipping management why don't you apply for logistics and supply chain. But if you want career in financial modelling, you can also go for
