I have a MAT score of 781.5(99.63%). Can I apply for MBA at NIT Rourkela? How good is the placement?

    Hello Abhishek,
    A score of 781.5 is pretty decent to apply at the MBA programme of NIT Rourkela. I suggest you to fill the online form, as the notification for admission in MBA programme is already out on institute's website.
    Coming towards the placement scenario at School of Management, NIT Rourkela, and the average CTC you're offered is INR 6 LPA.
    Companies coming for placements include TCS, YODLEE Financial Services, Aakash Institute among others.

    Yes, you can apply for MBA at NIT Rourkela. NIT Rourkela is the best-known college for technical studies but it is still raising its wings to be a renowned B-school. The placement scenario of MBA is improving a lot and doing well. Year by year its placement statistics is increasing as well as the number of students taking admission is also increasing.
    This year the placement scenario was good enough. Companies like Aakash Institute, Axis Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, ORMAS, etc. Are coming for campus recruitment and taking a good number of students.

    The MBA program is growing at NIT-Rourkela. Faculties are good here. The crowd is above average and specifically, in batch students are experienced. The placement scenario is okay. They help you in getting internships. The seniors are kind and cooperative.

    HiCongrats for such a nice score in MAT. Yes you can surely apply for MBA in NIT Rourkela . NIT Rourkela is emerging its wings into B School and getting successful in this too. NIT Rourkela has a good placement record. To get admission in NIT Rourkela for MBA , you need to fill up online application for MBA in the site www.nitrkl.ac.in and then the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and group discussion. And the best performing candidate will be selected for admission. You can get admission for an MBA in Chandigarh University without appearing for CAT or MAT exams. The university has its own entrance test named as CUCET ( Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test). The Cucet test is accepted for MBA admission. Admission to the MBA programme is based on merit in the qualifying exam and a valid score in any one of the accepted national or state-level management entrance exams. The university also conducts its own in-house entrance exam, the DPAT, as an alternative option.
