I have a valid Gate2011 score and i got 846 th rank in manipal mtech entrance exam. is there any chance for getting admission???

I completed BTech Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the year 2010. I have a valid GATE 2011 score , I wrote Manipal Mtech Entrance exam this year and i got 846 th rank. is there any possibility of getting admitted to MIT?? if yes, whats ur opinion about joining there for MTech???

With this rank it seems difficult at Manipal in the first counselling session. May be in the later counselling you can get into it after the intial candidates get filtered out.
