Joint Seat Allocation Authority JoSAA has been set up to manage and regulate joint seat allocation for admissions to over 100 institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes (other GFTIs). According to the home state quota rule, your domicile state is considered the state from which you have completed your 12th grade board exam. Approximately 50% of seats are reserved for this quota. So if you have completed your 12th grade in Rajasthan, your home state will be Rajasthan even though your domicile state is Jharkhand.
