I have applied for distance course in electrical engg. B.E. can i apply for a Govt. job on the base of this digree?

Distance education Engineering degrees do not stand recognised as per AICTE norms till now. AMIE/AMIETE etc seems to be recognised by Govt of India and are professional memberships considered equivalent to Engineering Graduation

according to AICTE norms you cannot do ant technical degree like engineering from distance education it is not valid , so if you not take admisison till now then i suugest you no to do engineering degree from distance education
