I have around 76K rank in JEE Mains ( Home State Maharashtra, GENERAL MALE), and scored 279 in BITSAT. Can I get into BITS mechanical?

For BITS your BITSAT score will be considered for admission. You can appear in the counseling process which starts in mid of October. After counseling, you will get a clear picture of the branch as it tends to change every year. Your JEE is irrelevant to your admission to BITS as it is not considered. All the best!
